About Us

The Movies You Love, Made by Hand.

Hi, I’m Nick.

My Dead Robot isn't a big warehouse or a faceless corporation. It’s just me, a messy desk in Manchester, and a lifelong obsession with the cult classics, 80s gems, and musical touchstones that shaped my brain.

I started this because I wanted t-shirts and art that went a bit deeper than the usual high-street reprints. I wanted the niche references—the stuff that makes a fellow fan stop you in the street to say, "Is that an Innerspace shirt?"

Not Just a Print-on-Demand Shop

Unlike the big guys, I actually care about the craft. Whether I’m carving a linocut block by hand, firing up the laser engraver, or heat-pressing a t-shirt, I’m involved in every single step.

  • The Gear: I use high-quality, comfortable fabrics because life is too short for scratchy, boxy t-shirts - I actually wear what I sell, I test them!
  • The Art: From tactile, hand-printed linocuts to precision engraving, I make things that are built to last—just like the movies they’re inspired by. Also, no AI. I've worked as a graphic designer for years now.
  • The Personal Touch: When you buy from My Dead Robot, you’re supporting a maker, not a boardroom. I design it, I make it, and I’m the one who drops it at the post office.

Join the Cult

I’m not here to "provide solutions" or "exceed expectations" (though I hope I do). I’m here to make cool stuff for people who love The 'Burbs, cult soundtracks, and tangible art as much as I do.

Thanks for supporting a small, independent business. It really does mean the world.
